Still Stories is for parents of children 2 to 12. It's made for you to use with your child, not for children to use on their own. You need to be 18 or older to make an account.
You set your child's age in their profile, and each story is written for that age. For children 5 and under, our story rules also leave out villains and anyone getting lost.
Every family gets one new story a day for free, with pictures and narration. You don't need a card to start.
If you'd like more, Plus gives you up to 3 stories a day and Family gives you up to 10. Family also includes Voice Circle. Every plan, free included, lets you add up to 4 children. The daily stories are shared by the whole family. You'll see the price for your country in the app before you pay.
Apple handles payments, so you cancel through Apple. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. If you're on a paid plan, you can also tap your plan near the top of Settings in the app. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you've already paid for.
Everything we know about your child comes from you. Stories are made with four AI partners. Anthropic writes them, fal.ai draws the pictures, ElevenLabs reads them aloud and OpenAI checks them for safety. Before your first story, the app asks your permission to send them your child's details.
We never use your child's details for ads, and the app has no ads. If you speak a note about your child's day, Apple's speech recognition turns it into text, and Apple may process the audio on its own servers.
Our Privacy Policy lists every company that receives data and what each one gets.
Every story and picture is checked automatically before your child sees it. A story that fails the check is written again, and a picture that fails is left out. But no person reads each story first, so something can still slip through. If it does, email us at support@withstill.co with the story's title and we'll look into it.
Each child has their own story world. The app remembers the characters and big moments from earlier stories, so a friend your child met last week can come back tonight, and new stories can mention past adventures.
Yes. You can add up to 4 children on any plan. Each child gets their own profile, with their own stories, characters and memories.
To remove one child, open Settings in the app, find them under Children and tap the trash icon. This deletes that child's stories, pictures, narration, day notes and memories. Family voices stay, because they belong to the whole family. You can remove those in Voice Circle.
To delete your whole account, tap Delete Account in Settings. This removes your account, every child profile and all of their stories from our servers right away, and asks ElevenLabs to delete your family voices. Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription, so cancel that through Apple too.
Voice Circle is part of the Family plan. Up to 3 grown-ups in your family, like Mom, Dad or Grandma, can each record their voice once. Stories can then be read in that voice.
The person being recorded starts by reading a short consent sentence out loud, and we check for it before the voice is made. Voice Circle is only for adults' voices. Never record a child. The recording goes to OpenAI, to check the consent sentence, and to ElevenLabs, which makes the story voice. We don't keep the recording on our servers. You can remove a voice at any time in Voice Circle.
The app is listed on the App Store under our founder's personal developer account, while IDATA YAZILIM LIMITED SIRKETI runs the service and is responsible for your data.
